Jordan Tafila Wind Project

Located 140km southwest of Amman, Jordan, the Wind Power Project began to develop from 2013 with a capacity of 49.5MW (3.3MW x 15).

Daelim Energy Co., Ltd and Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd have signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Jordan’s National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) on the 31st of March, 2016 with a planned COD in 2Q 2020.

Under the agreement, the Jordanian government will purchase power in the next 20 years as part of a BOO (Build, Own, Operate) model.

DAEHAN Wind Power Co., PSC, a joint investment by Daelim Energy Co., Ltd and Korea Southern Power Co., Ltd, will be in charge of the business operations.
